Dakota  R "Cote"  Rathburn
Dakota Robert “Cote” Rathburn, 24, of Hubbardston, formerly of NH, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 18, 2018.
Born in Gardner on December 10, 1993, he was the son of Robert F. Rathburn, Jr. and Carol A. (Racine) (Rathburn) LaBrie.
Dakota graduated from Conant High School of Jaffrey, NH with the Class of 2011.
He was most recently employed by All Saint Foundations of Hubbardston as a foreman. He was previously employed by Selmar Brothers Foundations, Inc. of Jaffrey, NH.
Dakota was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
He was an adventurist, and loved spending time outdoors whether it was fishing, hiking and kayaking. He was a loyal fan of the New England Patriots; and he adored his babies, his dogs “Jax” and “Bo” and his cats “Stew” and “Beef”. Dakota loved eating. He enjoyed going to buffets, but he especially loved his grandmothers cooking.
Dakota leaves his father, Robert F. Rathburn, Jr. and his fiancé Tracy Radisic of Athol; his mother, Carol (Racine) (Rathburn) LaBrie and her husband Joe LaBrie of W. Peterborough, NH; paternal grandfather, Robert F. Rathburn, Sr. of Athol; paternal grandmother, Linda A. (Ball) Bailey of Orange; maternal grandmother, Anne M. (Mercier) McMilleon of Gardner; brothers, Brandon Allen of South Carolina, Robert LaBrie of Peterborough, and Michael, Dawson and James Noah Radisic all of Athol; sisters, Peri Fletcher and her husband Toby of Sullivan, NH, Tracey Jess and her significant other, William VanHillo of Fitzwilliam, NH, Tasha Marcinkiewicz and her significant other Mario Dumas of Gardner, Mariah LaBrie of Keene, NH and Breanna Radisic of Athol; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 3rd from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 3rd from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
