April Lynn Yorke, 48, died peacefully and joined the Angels Monday, October 26, 2015, in her residence, surrounded by family following a brief illness.
She was born in Fitchburg on July 8, 1967, the daughter of Donald and Priscilla Yorke.
April was a member of Mission Street Congregational Church of Gardner.
She enjoyed reading magazines, dancing and she loved her dog “Gizmo”. April had a precious heart and always had a beautiful smile on her face.
She was a member of the Life Skills Program of Gardner, and loved attending all of their dances.
She leaves one sister, Lisa Yorke of Fitchburg; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her special family with whom she lived, Nancy and Harold Rolf and their daughter Tricia, and Donna Halstead of Baldwinville. She was predeceased by one sister, Cheryl Franz.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 20th at 9:30 a.m. in Mission Street Congregational Church, 15 Mission Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
There are no calling hours.
