Obituary for Casey J Cormier

Casey J. Cormier, 30, of Gardner, died Friday, February 2, 2018 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner.
Casey was born in Fitchburg on November 24, 1987, the son of Ivan F. and Carol A. (Richard) Cormier of Gardner.
He graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 2006, and later attended Mount Wachusett Community College of Gardner.
Casey was employed as a lead carpenter for his father’s construction company, ICC Enterprises of Gardner.
He was a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner, and was a member of AA.
Casey loved playing music, whether it was the guitar, ukulele, banjo or bass. He enjoyed singing, he had a beautiful singing voice but only a privileged few ever heard it. He enjoyed working out, spending time with his family and he treasured spending time with his son Alex. Casey loved history, military and studying languages and astronomy. He was a funny, witty, extremely thoughtful, intelligent young man who was constantly trying to learn new things. He will be greatly missed by all knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, he leaves his wife Elizabeth A. (Siopes) Cormier of Gardner; son, Alexander J. Cormier of Gardner; brother, Curt I. Cormier and his girlfriend, Samantha Rios of Gardner. He leaves his aunts and uncles; Janice Conboy and her husband Darren, Thomas Richard and his wife Susan Sullivan, Deloris Nowlan, Phyllis Martin and her husband Larry, and Karen Sanchez and her fiancée Bill Atchue and Ben Sanchez. He also leaves many dear cousins along with nephews and a niece. Casey also leaves his in laws; William and Susan Siopes , Bill Siopes and his wife Melissa, Matthew Siopes and his financee Tiffanie Roper.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 12th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 11th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
