Alphee J. ""Fee""  Leger
Alphee J. “Fee” Leger, 86, of Gardner, died peacefully Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in his residence, following an illness.
Alphee was born in Fitchburg on May 30, 1931, the son of the late Frank and Lucy (Jacob) Leger.
He was a United States Korean War Army Veteran.
Alphee was employed as a wallpaper fabricator by Vogue Wall Covering Inc. of Fitchburg for 14 years, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. Alphee was also a member of the American Legion Post 429 of Fitchburg and American Veterans Post 29 of Fitchburg.
He enjoyed fishing, spending time at Foxwoods, and he loved camping. Alphee was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins.
He leaves one sister, Irene Hebert of Gardner; one brother, Frank Leger of Gardner; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. Alphee was predeceased by one sister, Anita LeBlanc.
Funeral Services and burial will be held Tuesday, January 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
There are no calling hours.
