Lola L. (Owens) Beaudoin, 75, of Gardner and formerly of NH for 30 years, died suddenly in her home Friday, December 29, 2017, following a long illness.
Born in Laurel, Maryland on September 10, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy (Hawke) Owens.
Lola graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1961. She was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance of West Lebanon, NH as a Customer Service Representative for 19 years, retiring in 2005.
Lola was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She was previously a member of St. Joseph’s Cathedral of Manchester, NH, where she was very active in the parish during the 1980’s and 1990’s.
Lola enjoyed gardening, bird feeding and traveling. She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, and loved her puppy dog ‘Brady’. Lola treasured spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 56 years, Gerald E. Beaudoin of Gardner; two sons, Michael Beaudoin and his partner Shawn Moffitt of Leominster, and Alan Beaudoin and his wife Lizanne of Tewksbury; one daughter, Allison Mazur and her husband Clay of New Hampton, NH; two brothers, Robert Owens and his wife Maureen of Gardner, and Kenneth Owens and his wife Donna of Fort Myers, FL; three grandchildren, Nicholas Mazur, Jared Sharifi and Justin Sharifi; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 6th from the Boucher Funeral Home, 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner at a later date.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
